The Bomb Google Plugin by Rick Wilson with Smustard.com is a utility to explode all components and groups in your model. It works really well to explode everything in your model. Though, using SketchUp version 7.1, I did have an issue when it came to very large files. This plugin tends to freeze Google SketchUp when using it on large complicated files.

This plugin really works the best when applied to components brought in from the Google Warehouse or if you need to use a complicated model as a part of another model. But in order for it to work correctly you would have to create a new file to import the warehouse component or model, then you can explode the entire model with one click and then import it into your original file. This, to me, poses the one flaw of this plugin. The plugin would work much better if there were extra options associated with it. Instead of exploding the entire model, it would help to be able to only explode selected items or items on certain layers.

Overall, the Bomb Google Plugin explodes all components and groups seamlessly and is a must to have while working with SketchUp, but be aware! ALWAYS save your model before using it. At the time of this review the Bomb plugin on Smustard.com is free. I give it 3 out 5 stars.
